MVP-XP50T Sim

Anniversary Launch

27 years

HSimulators celebrates its 27th anniversary with the release of the MVP-XP50T Sim, an advanced avionics system for the X-Plane flight simulator, compatible with Windows (RELEASED) , macOS, and Linux on august 2025. Built with exceptional fidelity, the MVP-XP50T features nine fully functional screens that replicate real-world instruments with impressive precision.

The product will be available in two versions: one tailored for the virtual flight simulation community, and a professional-grade version used in certified flight simulators — already implemented in aviation schools in Brazil and Peru, in the Chilean Navy, and by the Brazilian Air Force.

Main Features

MVP-XP50T Sim – Stunning Reality for X-Plane 12

The MVP-XP50T Sim is a highly detailed avionics simulation built to enhance the King Air C90B cockpit in X-Plane 12 with unmatched realism and precision. Developed entirely in C++ and integrated natively with the X-Plane SDK 4.1.1, it includes two independent engine plugins and a dedicated subpanel for alarm and timer control, ensuring seamless synchronization with aircraft systems.

1. Main Engine Screen

This screen displays all primary engine data essential for turbine operations:

  • Torque (arc gauge with color-coded ranges)

  • ITT (Inter-Turbine Temperature)

  • Ng (Gas Generator Speed)

  • Np (Propeller RPM)

  • Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature (strip gauges)

  • Fuel Flow and Fuel Pressure (strip gauges)

  • Crew Alerting System (CAS) annunciators, up to 24 alerts

  • Outside Air Temperature (OAT)

  • Electrical voltage and amperage

  • Integrated flight clocks

  • Anti-Ice visual alert when OAT < -3°C

  • Intake Ice annunciator confirming switch activation

2. System Screen

This screen provides animated monitoring of secondary aircraft systems:

  • Aileron Trim indicator (animated)

  • Elevator Trim indicator (animated)

  • Rudder Trim indicator (animated)

  • Flap position display with progressive animation

  • “UNSAFE” flap alert during transition

  • Landing gear position with UP, DOWN, and Transit animation

  • Automatic gear warning logic tied to speed and power

  • Supplemental annunciators for:

    • Beacon

    • Navigation Lights

    • Pitot Heat

    • Anti-Ice

    • Intake Ice (engine-specific annunciation)

3. Fuel Management Screen

This is the core planning and endurance page, combining fuel and navigation data:

  • Fuel levels per tank (Left, Right, Aux L, Aux R)

  • Total fuel quantity (color-coded)

  • Fuel Flow Total (real-time burn rate)

  • Used Trip (fuel since engine start)

  • Used Since Fill (fuel since last refuel)

  • Fuel Remaining (usable)

  • Time-to-Empty (T to E)

  • Distance-to-Empty (D to E)

  • GPS data:

    • Active waypoint name

    • Track to waypoint

    • Groundspeed (knots)

    • Efficiency (NM per gallon or MPL)

    • Altitude

  • Predictions to waypoint:

    • Fuel to waypoint

    • Time to waypoint

    • Distance (Haversine-based great circle)

  • Reserve predictions at waypoint:

    • Fuel reserve

    • Time reserve

    • Distance reserve (range beyond waypoint)

  • Color-coded reserve alerts (<45 min yellow, <30 min red)

4. Timers Screen

Time management tools for operational workflow:

  • Up Timer (event timing such as tank switching)

  • Down Timer (countdown with audible alert)

  • Automatic Flight Timer (starts >97% N1, stops <60% N1)

5. Clocks & Hour Meters

Displays critical time and maintenance metrics:

  • Local time display

  • Zulu (UTC) time display

  • Automatic engine hours logging

  • Engine cycle tracking (realistic turbine maintenance alignment)

6. Checklist Screen

An interactive procedural checklist using rotary encoder and push-select logic:

  • Item-by-item navigation with rotary encoder

  • Active item highlighted with blue-bordered number

  • Lighted cyan highlight for active selection

  • Push-select confirmation marking item as complete (✔)

  • Completed items displayed in green

  • Persistent checklist progress across screen changes

  • Organized by flight phase:

    • Pre-Start

    • Engine Start

    • Taxi

    • Takeoff

    • Cruise

    • Descent

    • Approach

    • Shutdown

7. Menu Screen

Central navigation hub for fast screen switching:

  • Scrollable menu of all 8 screens using rotary encoder

  • Active menu item highlighted in cyan with blue-bordered number

  • Push-select instantly loads the chosen screen

  • Quick return to menu via softkey

8. Diagnostics & Data Logs Screen

Technical screen for advanced analysis and logging:

  • Real-time display of internal datarefs and system parameters

  • Continuous flight data logging for post-flight review

  • Exportable logs for performance analysis and study

    Subpanel: ACK and VOICE

Professional Version – MVP-50T

The professional version of the MVP-50T was developed specifically for certified flight simulators, meeting the highest standards of precision and reliability required in military and institutional training environments.

In partnership with Avionics Services, Marcnamara — the professional division of HSimulators — was responsible to support Avionics Services for the development and integration of the MVP-50T system into the upgraded Pilatus PC-7 flight simulator designed for the Chilean Navy (Armada de Chile).

This project marked a significant milestone in applying the MVP-50T to advanced real-world training, providing accurate replication of avionics instruments and supporting the operational and tactical preparation of military pilots.

With this integration, the MVP-50T has proven to be a robust and dependable solution for certified training simulators, trusted by armed forces and aviation institutions in high-level modernization and pilot qualification programs.

Polar Sceneries 2025
